Banner Registration Notice

To our Banner Community,

We anticipate heavy registration activity starting on Wednesday, August 14 through the first week of school.  To help alleviate all Banner-related performance issues:

  1. Remember to promptly log out of your Banner session when not in use.
  2. Avoid running large job submissions during business hours.  If absolutely necessary, please run those job submissions between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
  3. Running new pop sels should also be avoided during peak periods.  Only those that have been tested and known to run efficiently should be used.

System administrators reserve the right to abort jobs that take longer than a few minutes to run if they are deemed to be detrimental to registration processing or are otherwise determined to be "runaways."
