A new UH Executive Policy E2.214: "Security and Protection of Sensitive Information" was promulgated in November 2007. This policy is intended to provide the framework for practices and procedures associated with systems and files that contain sensitive, personal, and confidential information within the University of Hawaii System. The policy addresses classification of information as well as access to, storage, handling & destruction of sensitive information. This policy also addresses the State of Hawaii's statutory requirements enacted in 2006.
