Physiology & Human Behavior
This pathway leads to better education in nutritional health, physical fitness, behavior modification, and well being for all citizens of Hawaii. The College partners with the John A. Burns School of Medicine, the UH Hilo Human Biology Program, and local hospitals to offer internships designed to promote health education. Students will work with faculty in the Physiological Signals & Sleep Laboratory, the Metabolic and Energy Balance, and the Biomechanics and Exercise Science Laboratory maintained. Students will be prepared for transfer to an undergraduate biomedical degree programs.
