JIM GAMBLE AND HIS PUPPETS: THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF PUPPETS” RETURNS TO KENNEDY THEATRE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!

The University of Hawai‘i at M~noa’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents "Jim Gamble and his Puppets: The Wonderful World of Puppets" for one public show on the Kennedy Theatre Mainstage, Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 7 p.m. Jim Gamble’s unique style and imaginative marionettes will thrill and delight audiences of all ages in this fifty minute performance featuring some of his most beloved characters. Fun and mischief will abound when Gamble’s marionettes interact with the audience and "magically" transform into other characters. Gamble’s productions have been a Honolulu favorite for almost thirty years, entertaining Hawai‘i’s keiki - generation after generation.

With over 40 years of experience performing with puppets, Gamble’s fascinating productions and beautifully crafted marionettes galvanize his acclaim in California, across the nation, and around the world. Each year, Gamble performs dozens of programs from Seattle to New York, Honolulu to Los Angeles. Past productions have traveled outside the United States to countries including Korea, England, the Middle East and Japan. In 2004, his Honolulu appearance precedes additional tours world wide throughout the year.
