Communicating in Khmer: An Interactive Beginner Level Khmer Course for classroom use or for individual self-study.

Materials
The set consists of a Teacher/Student Manual and a CD covering 8 unit themes with 24 lessons. The Manual includes writing exercises and cultural images. Each lesson in the CD includes Khmer text, activities, real-life images, and audio. Each lesson focuses on four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Lessons cover a variety of social and cultural topics which reflect the lives of the Khmer people. The materials aid the learner in comprehension abilities, communication strategies and linguistic skills.

These materials will be used for CAM101 and CAM105 (Online Course) to be offering through the University of Hawai'i, at Manoa for Fall 2005.
