with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education
Admission requirements include: (1) minimum grade point average of 3.0; (2) DOE certified physical educator or equivalent; (3) minimum of three years teaching physical education or applicable; (4) filing of UH general application with Graduate Division; and (5) interview. Throughout your program of study, you are required to maintain a "B" or better in ALL classes to remain on stipend. However, as a commitment to you and the project, every effort for retention will be made available to you. In this light, there are various offices and programs that can assist you if needed.
Exit requirements: Participants will need a minimum of 30 credits (All "B" or better) for completion, a comprehensive examination (for Master of Science degree) and take the Adapted Physical Education National Standards Certification Examination (for National Certification).
