In an effort to build on its long-term partnership with the Center for Korean Studies, The Korea Foundation gave a visionary $1,000,000 gift to the Center. The gift requires an equivalent match of $1,000,000.
The $2,000,000 total will be placed in an endowment, with interest used to provide a Korean studies faculty chair position to be rotated among disciplines, laying a strong foundation for enhancing an already recognized outstanding Center.
The Center is currently working to raise $1,000,000 to match the Korea Foundation’s gift. We can embrace the full potential of the Korea Foundation’s investment in the Center for Korean Studies only if we have your support.
Please join us to celebrate the continuing investment of the Korea Foundation with an opportunity to match their gift. With your donation, you become part of this historic opportunity to continue building on our position as one of the premier programs in the United States.
