The Worldwide Consortium of Korean Studies Centers will conduct its Fifth International Workshop on Korean Studies July 7–10, 2009, at the University of Hawai‘i Center for Korean Studies in Honolulu.
The Worldwide Consortium of Korean Studies Centers workshops are designed to provide a forum for graduate students in Korean studies to share their research in a supportive and encouraging environment and to promote scholarly interest in Korea around the globe. The theme of the 2009 workshop is “Korea Coping with Globalization.”
