Fifth International Workshop on
Korean Studies

July 7–10, 2009

The Worldwide Consortium of Korean Studies Centers will conduct its Fifth International Workshop on Korean Studies July 7–10, 2009, at the University of Hawai‘i Center for Korean Studies in Honolulu.

The Worldwide Consortium of Korean Studies Centers workshops are designed to provide a forum for graduate students in Korean studies to share their research in a supportive and encouraging environment and to promote scholarly interest in Korea around the globe. The theme of the 2009 workshop is “Korea Coping with Globalization.”

The members of the Worldwide Consortium of Korean Studies Centers are Korea University, Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Kyushu University, Peking University, Fudan University, the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, UCLA, the University of British Columbia, Harvard University, the Australian National University, and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
