Kahuewai Ola will recruit, retain, and matriculate prospective and current Native Hawaiian students to ensure success through all stages of their university tenure. This will be accomplished by coordinating effective academic support services for Native Hawaiian high school and community college students to enter and complete students to enter and complete a four-year degree in academic disciplines in which Native Hawaiians are underrepresented. Kahuewai Ola will focus on serving three primary groups:

1)Native Hawaiian high school students and their families from Roosevelt and Farringtion High Schools;

2)Native Hawaiian community college students at Honolulu Community College;

3) Native Hawaiian undergraduate students at University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
