Memories

We hope all of you, our alumni, enjoyed yourselves at our many events this year! If you were unable to join us, the following will provide you with a taste of what you have missed so that next time you will be sure to be right there beside us in all the fun! We look forward to seeing all of you at our next alumni event!

Graduating Class of 2008 Dinner (Friday, April 18, 2008) - Alumni, faculty, staff, and friends gathered to join the Graduating Class of 2008 to celebrate the end their law school career and the Class of 1983's 25th Reunion.  A slideshow and award ceremony provided the Class of 2008 with a memory of their three years together while the Class of 1983 reminisced through an address by the Alumni Speaker, Paul Goto ('83).  Faculty Speaker, Jill Ramsfield, also addressed the Class of 2008.  Special thanks to Becca Dayhuff ('07) and Nam Phan ('07) for their hard work making this event a success.

Manoa Stream Clean-Up (Saturday, April 19, 2008) - Three Alumni Association members joined five Environmental Law Society (ELS) members to clean a portion of Manoa Stream from 9-11:30 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, April 21st.  The crew cleaned the portion of the stream that had been "adopted" by ELS under the City's "Adopt a Stream" program (between the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Kaimuki High School).  Twelve large bags of trash were collected, as well as several pieces of metal, pieces of furniture and a shopping cart.  Mahalo to alumni Becca Dayhuff ('07), Nam Phan ('07), and Jim Williston ('78) for their efforts to clean the Manoa Stream and to ELS for coordinating the effort.
