Swee L. Berkey
BA, Diploma in Education, University of Malaya, 1971; MS, University of Oregon, 1977; JD, Willamette University, 1985; MLIS, University of Hawai`i, 1987.
Ms. Berkey has worked as a high school teacher teaching English language and literature and Malay language. She obtained her Masters in Public Affairs from the University of Oregon and worked for several years at the University of Oregon Library. She then obtained her law degree from Willamette University. As a law student, Ms. Berkey worked in the Oregon Department of the Attorney General. After graduation, she clerked with an Oregon County Circuit Court judge for a year. Her librarianship experience includes work at both private firms and academic institutions.
