BOMB THREATS. Every year, the University reminds us about current procedures for building evacuation during a bomb threat. The Manoa policy is to proceed with all scheduled exams and with regular instruction to the fullest extent possible. CAROL MON LEE, the law school's Communication Coordinator for Bomb Threats, will be notified if a building is to be evacuated and will initiate procedures for identifying a back-up examination site and help to reduce disruption to instructional activities.

STUDENTS

LEILANI TAN 3L, KANOE KANE 2L and KIM MOFFIE 3L will be representing the school at the International Environmental Moot Court Competition at Stetson University School of Law, St. Petersburg, Florida, on Nov. 1- 3. On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Law School softball team took champs of the F.L.A.B. Attorneys Slow Pitch Softball League, the third time in the 28 year history of the League and first time since 1987 (when Prof. ERIC YAMAMOTO was on the team). The team defeated Don Ho's 13-12 going undefeated (5-0) in the playoffs. Recapping the game: trailing by 7 runs
in the bottom half of the last inning, the team scored 8 to win. Singles and walks by ALAN KOMAGOME, MYLES MATSUMOTO, MAX HANNEMANN, GEORGE BURKE, WILISONI FATAFEHI, JEFFREY NG; a grand slam homerun by CHRIS CHUN, and a sacrifice fly by SCOTT NISHIMOTO accounted for the 8 runs and a championship. Although hitting won this game, the pitching and an awesome defense were led by BRENDAN BAILEY and Jeff in the outfield and Alan, Myles, George, and Scott in the infield. Key hits were made by STANTON OISHI and JONATHAN IIDA. The team will play the Accounting League champs on a Saturday at the end of October and invite the law school to an after game potluck.
