Choosing an Appropriate Index

There are many periodical indexes available to you as a UH student. Some indexes contain articles on a wide range of topics. Others may concentrate on a particular subject area (psychology, religion, business), or a group of related subjects (health sciences, covering nursing, respiratory therapy, radiology, etc.).

Each UH campus subscribes to a particular set of periodical indexes to serve the programs offered on that campus.

By far, UH Manoa has the largest collection. Though articles are not available remotely via your computer, you may visit Hamilton Library and obtain the articles there.

The links below display the electronic resources of each campus library's Web site.

If you are accessing this page off campus, be prepared to enter your UH Number and last name to gain access.

All campuses subscribe to the Academic Search Premier periodical index produced by the EBSCO company. Start your search here.
