Mailing Lists

The LIS Program sponsors the following mailing lists to communicate with students and graduates:

LIS-STU
LISalumni-L
LIS-JOBS
BETA-PHI-MU

Information concerning each mailing list is available below.

LIS-STU mailing list

All new incoming graduate students are automatically added to the LIS student mailing list via their UH email address. Please do not unsubscribe from this mailing list while enrolled in the program, as it is the conduit for official messages and announcements from the program.

Announcements sent to this list are typically internship or job opportunities, library-related events, registration or graduation deadline notifications, and et cetera.

To minimize information overload, this mailing list should only be used for information related to the LIS Program. It is not the proper channel to announce that you’re looking for a car or having a birthday party for your schnauzer.

If you encounter problems with the mailing list, please contact the LIS Program Coordinator.
