The Little Free Library talks to Librarians: What’s it Saying?

March 21, 2018 @ 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm

Sponsored by The UHM LIS Diversity Council & the Department of Ethnic Studies

Associate Professor Kate Williams (University of Illinois) works in community informatics, which focuses on digital inequality and community transformation in the information age. She coined the term “informatics moment” based on studying tech help interactions in the public library. The little free library is a focus that emerged in collaboration with students in her MSLIS foundations courses.
