Description of collection
Kapiolani Community College's digitization and digital collections, including the Hawaii Nisei Story, the Hawaii Memory Project and Native Plants Hawaii.
Description of internship
The intern will assist in planning/production work for the Hawaii Memory Project (http://memory.hawaii.edu) or Native Plants Hawaii (http://nativeplants.hawaii.edu).

The intern needs to be self-motivated, have an interest in digital libraries and digitization.
Weekly schedule
10 to 15 hours per week or as needed; very flexible
Learning/experiential goals or work outcomes expected
Digitization, work on the iOn CMS, metadata, research, community outreach for research, web publishing and photo editing (Photoshop).
