LIS Web Team html classes

The LIS Web Team is happy to announce the Spring 2009 html classes.  These classes are designed to help students create their ePortfolio web site and can also help with the LIS 670 assignments.  You can attend any or all of the classes based on your needs/skills.  However, classes are hands-on and each session builds on pages created in the previous session(s).  Therefore, students who miss the early classes should review the previous sessions in order to keep up with the rest of the class.  Please look at the Web Team workshop web page for information on what each of the individual classes covers if you need help deciding which sessions to attend. the handouts on the web site have not been updated the content is still current.Classes are $3.00 each (pay at the session) and will be on Saturdays, from 11:00-12:30 in HAM 113.Intro to html:  Jan. 31st Advanced html: Feb. 7thIntro to CSS: Feb. 14thAdvanced CSS: Feb 21Class size is limited to the number of PCs in the room (classes are rarely full).  However, you are welcome to bring your own laptop.  For those who bring their own laptop please make sure that you can connect to the internet BEFORE the session - you can do this anytime that you are on campus.  Information about wireless access is available here: RSVP with the sessions that you wish to attend and be sure to e-mail us ( if you cannot make a session.
