LIS 690 Library Internship Program
MANDATORY ORIENTATION MEETING
For students interested in taking LIS 690 in “the Summer” and “the Fall” 2009 semester.

This year, in response to students’ requests, we are offering summer internships for the first time (as an experiment).

The purpose of the session is to help prospective interns learn about the course requirements and procedures to set up an internship.  It also helps them start looking for an internship site.

Date: Monday, February 9, 2009
Time: 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Place: POST 318B

If you are considering doing an internship next term, remember that LIS 601 and LIS 663, and sometimes LIS 605, are prerequisites.

Please attend this mandatory orientation because there are specific procedures and deadlines that need to be observed in order to enroll in this course.

Please consult the LIS 690 site for more information: http://www.hawaii.edu/lis/courses.php?page=internships
