LIS faculty member Peter Jacso has been awarded a research grant from the Business Reference and Services Section of the Reference and User Services Association of the American Library Association (ALA). The award, sponsored by Emerald Group Publishing Ltd., will allow Dr. Jacso to create an open access resource for dynamic comparison and analysis of peer ratings of prominent marketing and marketing-related journals by members of various business associations and schools, as well as their ranking by bibliometric/scientometric indicators generated from the Web of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar databases. This resource also will support collection development of scholarly journals in marketing and related fields.
