2007 SLA Scholarship Program

Greetings:

 As the semester gets underway we would like to inform you that applications are being accepted for SLA’s 2007 Scholarship Program. Please encourage your students to apply for up to USD$6,000 in available scholarships. 

 Available scholarships include: 

  • SLA Scholarship - Graduate study in librarianship leading to a master’s degree
  • Affirmative Action Scholarship - Graduate study in librarianship leading to a Masters degree. Applicants must be citizens of the United States of America either by birth or naturalization or permanent resident aliens
  • Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) Scholarship - Beginning graduate study leading to a Ph.D. Applicants must be members of the Special Libraries Association and have worked in a special library
  • Plenum Scholarship - Graduate study leading to a Ph.D. Applicants must be members of the Special Libraries Association and have worked in a special library
  • Mary Adeline Conner Professional Development Scholarship - Post-M.L.S. certificate or degree programs. Applicants must be members of the Special Libraries Association and have work in special libraries at least five years.

Students are encouraged to visit the SLA Web site for complete descriptions, eligibility requirements and applications.  

Applications must be postmarked by 30 September 2007.
