Pay Rate: $12.60/hr

Schedule: 20 hours/wk, flexible hours

Project Overview:
These positions will serve as archivist assistants for a joint online archive project between Honolulu Community College’s Hawaii Ocean program, the Polynesian Voyaging Society, and Ulukau: The Hawaiian Digital Library.

Job Duties:

• Read through, catalog and assess primary source materials in the PVS collection to determine suitability for posting in an online environment.
• Research, catalog and digitize additional primary source materials not currently in the collection.

Qualifications:
Current UH system graduate student carrying 6 credits in good academic standing in any of the following disciplines:

• Library and Information Science
• Museum Studies
• Hawaiian Studies
