Gerd Muehsam Award 2008
October 9, 2008 on 9:24 am | In Scholarships |The ongoing goals of Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) include increasing awareness of
ARLIS/NA among library school students and encouraging library school students to consider art librarianship as a career. To these ends, the Society is offering the Gerd Muehsam Award. This is an annual award of
$500 (plus up to $300 additional travel reimbursement to attend their annual conference) for a student paper or web project focused on a topic relevant to art librarianship or visual curatorship.
Students enrolled from last fall and spring and through the summer are eligible to apply. An announcement is also available on the ARLIS/NA web site at www.arlisna.org.
