The Makiki Community Library has a 30 year history of providing services to Makiki and the greater Hawaii community. It’s reopening after renovations and needs volunteers to make it a success.
Get hands-on experience:
-Conducting story times for children
-Developing a library catalog
-Teaching information literacy
-Preserving books
-Marketing library services
-Working with patrons
-Writing and implementing collection development policies
-And much more
