Education:

* Ph.D. Cornell University
Areas of Specialization:
Medieval and Renaissance literature, utopian and dystopian theories, classical philosophy, scriptural hermeneutics in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and literary theory. I maintain an interest in Francophone literature.
Publications, Research & Teaching:
My article "Rereading Rabelais' Sacred Noise" appeared in Renaissance et Réforme in Spring 2007. Four of my translations of articles on religious difference were published in 2006. I am currently working on Montaigne's notion of "experience" and its many infusions. I have taught courses ranging from beginner's French, to Francophone Literature, to graduate seminars on the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. I have been invited to teach the first year writing seminar in Fall 2007.
