VERS

 

 

Vers is an annual collection of poems published each year by the French Division of the Dept. of European Languages and Literature, edited by Professor Marie-José Fassiotto.

The poems are selected from those submitted by students taking French classes each year. Prizes are awarded for the best poem in each group:

Group I - students enrolled in FR 101 or 102, ITAL 101 or 102
Group II - students enrolled in FR 201 or 202, ITAL 201 or 202
Group III - students enrolled in upper division French courses
Group IV - graduate French students


Rules:

  • The poet must be enrolled in a French or Italian course the semester the poem is submitted and the poem must be written in French or Italian.
  • With the poem, indicate student ID number and the Group in which the poem is entered.
  • French: please submit by e-mail to jacob@hawaii.edu
  • Italian: please submit by e-mail to guido@hawaii.edu.
