TEACHING
Dr. Bennett has taught seminars
on Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, Chekhov, Russian Symbolism, Early Twentieth
Century Russian Literature, and Russian Folklore.
At the University of Hawaii she offers survey courses on nineteenth,
early twentieth century, and contemporary Russian literature.
RESEARCH
The main thrust of her research
has been on Russian Symbolism and she has published a number of articles
on this topic. She has also published on themes related to Russian
folklore. Dr. Bennett's secondary Slavic Language is Ukrainian
and she has published several articles on Ukrainian writers of the
1920's.
