Thank you for your interest in offering tours of Lyon Arboretum.
In order to offer the highest quality tour for visitors to the Arboretum, each Commercial Tour company is expected to provide the names of each tour guide and how the individual is qualified to provide quality factual information about the plants of Arboretum and Hawaii. It is highly recommended that individual guides participate in the Arboretum docent training program which is offered twice a year.
Each Commercial tour operator is required to complete the attached agreement, pay a $100 permit fee (payable to Lyon Arboretum) and provide a copy of a current PUC license, and insurance policies as outlined in the agreement. Each Commercial tour operator is also required to submit the names and qualifications of individual tour guides who will be providing educational information in the Arboretum.
Also attached is a new and revised Lyon Arboretum Risk and Release Form. All visitors must sign this form. The tour operator should bring payment, with the signed risk and release form to the Visitor Center upon arrival.
