Mānoa’s University of Hawaiʻi Art Gallery won an American Association of Museum 2008 bronze MUSE Award for its first educational website.
The exhibition catalog received an honorable mention.
The website was created in conjunction with the museum’s 2007 Excelling the Work of Heaven: Personal Adornment from China exhibition.
A team drawing on faculty, alumni and student talent developed interactive activities and downloadable hands-on art projects that teach history, language and traditions of late Imperial China.
