Trio of textile exhibits in fall

Three University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa venues feature textile exhibits in conjunction with the Textile Society of America’s 11th Biennial Symposium in Honolulu in fall 2008.
- The University of Hawaiʻi Art Gallery offers Writing with Thread: Traditional Textiles of Southwest Chinese Minorities Sept. 21–Nov. 30. Information at the Art Gallery exhibit schedule.
- The College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources’ Historic
Costume Collection, will display selected clothing at Miller Hall. Hours are 11 a.m.–1 p.m. weekdays, Sept. 20–30; 4:30–8 p.m. Sept. 24; 1–4 p.m., Sept. 28 - Hamilton Library offers Ancient Customs, Ancient Stories: Lampung Ceremonial Textiles and Objects, at the Hamilton Library Bridge Gallery, daily during library hours through Oct. 31.
