Instinct by Russell Sunabe
Kapiʻolani Community College’s Koa Gallery presents Local Motives, an exhibit exploring what it means to be local in Hawaiʻi. Through their work, participating artists Russell Sunabe, Chuck Souza, Maile Yawata and Kazu Kauinanai investigate concepts of ethnicity, ʻaina (land) and society in an ever-changing Hawaiʻi.
Gallery hours are Mon.–Fri., 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Sat., 10 a.m.–2 p.m., through Nov. 14. Free.
