Going green just got easier, thanks to a series of public workshops offered by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Outreach College in conjunction with Olomana Gardens and the American Society of Landscape Architects Hawaiʻi Chapter.
Choose from six one-afternoon workshops held at the gardens in Waimānalo on topics ranging from permaculture and composting to raised bed and portable organic gardening.
For the more ambitious, there’s a six-class course on residential landscape design, scheduled on the Mānoa campus.
For information or to register, visit Outreach College’s Growing Green course list or call 808 956-8400.
