Nearly 300 faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, students and friends attended the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa College of Education Recognition Dinner at the Koʻolau Golf Club on Nov. 14, 2008.
Theme of the event was: A sense of purpose. A sense of place. Dean Christine Sorensen, third from right, thanked honorees for their contributions to education in Hawaiʻi.
