With the second of two finalists completing campus visits, the University of Hawaiʻi System is moving closer to selecting David McClain’s successor as UH president.

Alumni, the university community and members of the public are invited to provide input on the finalists—M.R.C. Greenwood and Robert J. Jones—to the Advisory Presidential Selection Committee.

Greenwood is a University of California, Davis professor and chancellor emerita of the University of California, Santa Cruz. Jones is senior vice president for system academic administration at the University of Minnesota.

The candidates were asked to meet with university constituencies and hold public forums on four islands. The Oʻahu public sessions was recorded for viewing online. See the webcasts, learn more about the candidates and take the “rate the candidate survey” at the presidential selection website.

Survey input will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. May 18.
