Japan leads the world in superior mobile devices, content and advanced functionality. But what’s myth and what’s fact amid the hype?
Philip Sugai, dean of marketing and director of the Mobile Consumer Lab at the International University of Japan, will discuss trends and developments July 14 as part of the Shidler College of Business Pacific Asian Lecture Series. His Six Immutable Laws of a Mobile Business help companies understand the impact of wireless technologies on consumer behavior.
The summer lecture series continues July 28 with John Holman, U.S. Department of Commerce, on connecting Hawai‘i business with the world and Aug. 4 with Joachim Timlon, of Sweden’s Baltic Business School, on internationalization of small- and medium-sized Chinese entrepreneurs.
All lectures are free and begin at 4:15 p.m. in Business Administration Building Room G-102 on the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa campus. Refreshments follow. Walk-ins are welcome, but RSVPs are appreciated. More information at the PALS website.
