Five Mānoa Department of Theatre and Dance students participated in the Region VIII Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in St. George, Utah.

“It was a great chance to meet and work with other theatre students and see a lot of shows,” says Clara Bowden-Kerby, who competed as stage manager. Other contenders were Rikki Jo Hickey in dramaturgy (research and development), Jenn Thomas and Tommy Barron in acting and David Gerke in scenic and lighting design.

“We want to let other programs know about what we have to offer in theatre and dance at Hawaiʻi,” says Professor Lurana Donnels O’Malley.
