A Free Personal Statement Workshop at 5:30 p.m. June 17 will help individuals write a winning personal statement that will get the attention of graduate school admissions officers. The workshop will be conducted by UHAA partner Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions in BusAd A101 at the UH Mānoa Shidler College of Business.
The next UHAA Adopt-A-Highway cleanup is scheduled at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, at Kawaikui Beach Park, makai side of Kalanianaʻole Highway. Bottled water, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Bring your own brooms, dustpans, rakes, etc. and wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. In the event of rain, even light, the cleanup will be cancelled and rescheduled.
