This time as recipient of $20,000 and NASA’s Best Earth/Space Life Science Innovation Award in UH’s inaugural appearance at the Rice Business Plan Competition.

The Houston competition is considered the Superbowl of business plan competitions, and UH made the 42-team cut out of 500 entrants.

Team members say the experience strengthened their vision and reinforced their dream to start their own company.
