Czech artist Kocman featured in Hilo gallery

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo art department displays a selection of prints from the Metamorphoses of Print suite created by Czech artist Bedrich Kocman through Oct. 19.

Bedrich Kocman, an assistant professor of art and design at the University of West Bohemia in Pizen, Czech Republic, works in a range of media that includes lithography, silkscreen and intaglio. His works have been shown throughout Europe and United States.

The Kocman suite is on view in the Art Department Gallery Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Email mdmarsha@hawaii.edu or call 808-974-7524 to arrange a viewing time. Admission is free.

The exhibition is scheduled to travel on to the Universidad de Veracruzana, Mexico.
