The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa School of Travel Industry Management’s first online auction was a success, raising more than $25,000 from bids on hotel stays, airline tickets, restaurant certificates and more.
Proceeds from the four-day auction will support technology updates, graduation receptions, scholarships and awards, the school mentorship program and more.

Members of the TIM International alumni chapter were able to bid on auction items during a homecoming week gathering at the Sunset Reference Center in George Hall on the UH Mānoa campus.
Food for the event was provided by TIM alumni Ed Wary ’69, owner of Auntie Pasto’s; Kelly McGill ’97, owner of Tiki’s Grill and Bar; Wilson Chan ’01, owner of Zenshu; and Shane Masutani ’02, chef at The Alley.
