Enjoy Leeward’s Semester of Shakespeare

Leeward Community College’s Semester of Shakespeare continues in March with lectures, displays and performances.
All Semester of Shakespeare 2011 events are free and open to the public.
Costume Design for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a workshop by Jonathan Reyn, is scheduled at 10:30–11:45 a.m. on Monday, March 14 in the Leeward Community College Theatre.
Shakespeare and the Acting Business, a lecture by accomplished Shakespearean actor and teacher Jennifer Robideau, is scheduled at 12–1:15 p.m on Tuesday, March 15 in GT 105.
A Midsummer Day’s Dream is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 21 in the Eucalyptus Courtyard. Look for performances by Leeward drama students and instructors, displays depicting concepts related to the play and life in the Shakespearean age and period music by Leeward Arts and Humanities faculty.
The Oʻahu college’s Semester of Shakespeare received First Honorable Mention as the 2008 Innovation of the Year sponsored by the Wo Endowment. The 2011 events are coordinated by Associate Professors in Literature Susan Lum and Michael Nester.

Just came across this Semester of Shakespeare post, and loving the idea of A Midsummer Night’s Dream costume design! Have always fancied having my own Bottom suit ;) Are there any plans to rerun the course next semester/academic year?
