Directed Research (2-6 credits*)

Directed research can be conducted under the supervision of marine biology faculty in Botany, Microbiology, & Zoology, Marine Option Program and the Waikiki Aquarium in the College of Natural Sciences; in Oceanography and
Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology in the School of Ocean & Earth Sciences
& Technology; in the Kewalo Marine Laboratory of the Pacific Biomedical
Research Center.

*(Students who do not take BIOL 403 can take 4 more directed research credits with approval from academic advisor, hence the variable credit 2 to 6)
