Career exploration> Local resources
Hawaii is unique in being an island state with a large urban population on the main island of Oahu and rural communities on the neighbor islands. That being the case, you will find more jobs and greater diversity of jobs on Oahu. But, many people love Maui or the neighbor islands and choose not to relocate. Instead, they can use the following resources and do additional research by reviewing classified ads on their island to find out what kinds of jobs are in demand and if their career choices are among them.
