Purchase
your textbooks: Textbooks for classes offered by MCC and UH-Manoa
on-site classes are available from the MCC bookstore.
Molokai, Lanai, and Hana students, contact your Site Coordinator.
If you are enrolled in a HITS course, call the UH-Manoa bookstore,
1-800-842-6657 (1-800-UHBOOKS). Your books will be sent to you
by UPS 2nd Day Delivery. You'll be charged a flat shipping rate
of $7.00 for the first book and $1.00 for each additional book.
All orders will be shipped within two
days after payment is received.
Internet access: Many distance learning instructors will
require you to use e-mail to communicate with them and your classmates.
MCC students, register for an e-mail account at the Learning Center
984-3240. UH-Manoa students, apply at the computer center. Or
go online at: http://www.hawaii.edu/infotech/
Library card: To apply for an MCC library card, bring
your registration receipt to the Circulation Desk of the library.
A library card is valid for your entire stay and will be updated
each semester. The bar code on the library card is also used as
a password to access some electronic databases from locations
other than the library.
Molokai, Lanai, and Hana students can obtain a library card by
filling out a registration form and giving it to the Site Coordinator.
