Student Housing
Maui Community College offers student housing that makes it possible for students from Lana'i, Molokai, and outlying areas of Maui, as well as Mainland and international students, to attend classes on the Kahului campus.

MCC has two housing facilities. A new 400-bed facility, Kūlanaa’o, the Kahului Town Center Student Housing project, is a privately-funded venture of AGORA Realty. MCC also has Hale Haumana , an 11-room apartment complex located across the street from the campus on Wahine Pi`o Avenue, with space for 44 students.

Kūlanaa’o

The new private student housing project will be centrally located in Kahului, across the street from the Kahului Library, and within walking distance of the college, restaurants, and shopping centers. The facility will include 100 two-bedroom, apartment-style units that will be fully furnished with a kitchen, bathroom, and living room, and space for four students in two-person bedrooms.

Space reservations are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visit the Kūlanaa’o housing website.

If you have questions about housing, you can call vice chancellor Alvin Tagomori at 984-3268 .

Hale Haumana
Hale Haumana is an alcohol-free facility, located across the street from MCC's Kahului campus on Wahine Pi`o Avenue. The facility is owned and operated by MCC and has 11 apartments with space for 44 students. Each apartment is fully furnished with a kitchen, living room, bath, and two bedrooms. Utilities except telephone are included in the rent. Central laundry and recreation facilities are available. For the Fall 2006 semester, the cost for residing in this facility is $1,605 per student, per semester for a two-person bedroom. There is a $150 reservation-security deposit and a $10 application fee. To apply, call 242-6920 or write to the Student Housing office. Priority application deadlines are June 1 for Fall semester and Dec. 1 for Spring semester. Hale Haumana rates are subject to change.

Please contact Fred De Aquino for more information.
