Business Technology Cooperative Education
Cooperative Education
provides practical career-related work experience through a program
used nationally in colleges and universities to apply classroom knowledge
and to develop job competencies. Full-time or part-time work in private
and public sectors of the business, government and industrial communities
is utilized for this program. The number of credits earned depends upon
the number of hours spent at the job station during the semester.
Prereq: Business Technology major or Department/instructor approval.
(Formerly BCIS193V.) Seminar - 1.25 hours (20 hours total) Minimum 75
documented field experience hours per credit (1 credit=75 hours; 2 credits=150
hours; 3 credits=225 hours)
Credits
may be transferable as determined by the receiving institution. See
