NURS50 Health Unit Coordinator

Develops knowledge of medical terminology and medical abbreviations; diagnostic tests and procedures; drug categories and medications commonly used in hospitals, ambulatory and long term care facilities. Includes background information relating
to physician orders.

Prereq: BIOL100 with at least a C. Coreq: NURS16. 4cr., 2hr. lect./4hr. lab
