Background Information
The Myron B. Thompson School of Social Work prepares its Behavioral Mental Health Concentration (BMHC) graduates for competent, culturally resonant direct practice and leadership in the behavioral health arena. BMHC emphasizes knowledge and skill development germane to social work with individuals from Hawaii's diverse indigenous populations who require behavior health assessment treatment planning, appropriate services and service-delivery, advocacy, and policy advancement.
