Research Summary
As Bioinformatic Software Engineer at the Advanced Studies for Genomics, Proteomics
and Bioinformatics, I customize pipelines to assemble and annotate genomes
sequenced in the lab. The results are after available for collaborators
on a nice web interface on ASGPB's website. I build various programs
to help the productivity of the group, as a QC mechanism for sequences, GUI
front ends and some tools regarding genomics and proteomics analysis. I
am also in charge of maintaining and updating all databases in use at ASGPB. I
am also responsible of the sequences coming from the sequencing lab, as to
fetch the data, the quality control and the storage of the sequences. I
maintain and update the web site of ASGPB. I manage the computing server
in different ways: update the tools and databases, administers the user accounts
and make sure their needs are fulfilled.
