Maqsudul Alam, Ph.D
Principal Investigator
Maqsudul Alam received his Ph. D. in Microbiology from Moscow State University, Russia, and Ph. D. in Biochemistry from the Max Planck Institute, Germany. He joined the Department of Microbiology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1992. Since 2003, he has been the Director/Principal Investigator of the UH College of Natural Sciences’ Advanced Studies in Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics (ASGPB).
