Intro for Approved Courses

Approved Courses for the MOP Certificate

The following courses will satisfy the Marine Option Program Certificate credit requirements at UH Mānoa.  See the MOP Coordinators for eligible courses at other campuses.

Courses listed with an asterisk ( * ) are variable content courses (for example, a student may choose marine topics for assigned papers or term projects) and must be cleared with the MOP Coordinator or Director before they may be applied to the requirement.  The Coordinator or Director's approval must be entered in the student's file.

Lecture courses are listed.  Separately numbered lab courses, which complement some lectures, may also be applied towards the MOP certificate, but they are not all listed here.  Other courses may be applied toward the course requirements by petition.
